According to ECLAC, El Salvador is the Central American country that had the greatest recovery in terms of exports because they reported a growth of 48.1%, followed by Panama, which had an increase of 43.9% in the first half of 2021 .

In the Port of Acajutla, from January 1 to December 18, 2021, a total of 5,292,285 metric tons of imports and exports have been mobilized. In addition, 536 ships and 151,078 containers have been served.
